WHAT THEY WILL LEARN

  • Sing as part of a community group, exploring song themes, whilst being given information, support and guidance
  • Warm-up their bodies and voices and be given the opportunity to socialise
  • through rehearsal and repetition, reflect on their progress
  • Enjoy a final performance to an audience
  • Attend weekly sessions with a professional facilitator and experience the technical aspects of voice, sound and genre
  • Learn new skills in group singing
  • Work as part of a large team
  • Choose session material and explore creative learning

WHAT THEY WILL DO

  • Listen to, talk about and sing different genres of music
  • Take part in and learn about the benefits of warm-ups
  • Learn about singing best practice and how to use it in everyday tasks and even when performing
